Movie Star Sighting
Yesterday I had the privilege of eating dinner with a movie star. She was sitting right next to me with beautiful curly hair, pretty pink sunglasses, and shimmering jewelry. It was none other than…
Emma Grace!
For her birthday party, Emma requested a makeover princess party. In the beginning it sounded simple enough to me. Then, the preparations began. Apparently, this wasn’t a play makeover. The girls “needed” makeup, nail polish, hair stuff (in this case, stuff is plural), and other accessories. In the end, our home was transformed into a princess beauty parlor and Emma and her friends enjoyed it immensely.
In the evening, Genni and I decided we were too tired from all the work of getting ready for the party and didn’t want to cook dinner. Emma requested Red Robin and put on her fancy dress. She is our own Fancy Nancy Emma. It was fun to see her happy and enjoying her birthday.
One funny part of the party was opening presents. It turned into a traveling present opening. We had Emma sit on the couch at first. She opened one present there surrounded by her friends. Then, the whole party moved to a different spot on the floor for the next present. This continued until she had opened all her presents. It was interesting trying to get video of the party as it moved around.
